I have iTunes set to download the 1080p versions of movies and TV shows, but I still have a 2nd generation Apple TV that can only show 720p. How can I setup iTunes to download both HD versions? It also seems that when I have iTunes in the Cloud turned on, it doesn't allow me to redownload any of my HD content again.

I think the only way is to go into iTunes Store on a device that only supports 720p (like the iPod you mentioned), download the movie from the "Purchased" section. Then, when you next connect the iPod to your computer, make sure you run "Transfer Purchases", and it will add the 720p version to the library.

i've been struggling to export movies in 1080p, which i have done before so i don't think my footage is the problem. when i create a movie it's automatically set for 720p and i've been tinkering around trying to change it to 1080p but so far nothing has worked.

before even importing my footage into imovie, the project created is already set at 720p and won't change. i don't have any problem exporting to 1080p when uploading footage from the same camera with the same settings to windows movie maker. i don't think my footage is the problem !

As a result, one easy and fast fix for video buffering problems is to clean up your browser, which involves clearing out cookies and wiping your browsing history. A streamlined browser runs more quickly, which will reduce buffering times.

Using a virtual private network (VPN) invariably means a performance hit. Every data packet has to be encrypted and then decrypted at a remote server. You may notice this with video buffering problems, but it affects anything related to PC performance.

There is still a broad analog system in place for television, so even though digital signals and high-definition (HD) are becoming the universal standard, variations remain. The primary visual difference between NTSC and PAL systems for high definition TVs (HDTVs) is in the refresh rate. NTSC refreshes the screen 30 times a second, while PAL systems do so 25 times a second. For some types of content, especially high-resolution images (such as those generated by 3D animation), HDTVs using a PAL system may show a slight "flicker" tendency. However, the image quality is equal to that of NTSC and most people won't notice any problem.

It is one of the best ways how to fix bad video quality on your YouTube videos. You can choose manually for your chosen video quality (140p, 240p, 360, 720p, 1080p, 4K, 5K, 8K, Highres), or you can select the Highres option. This is to get the highest quality of that video content.

Yes, the Microsoft Edge web browser uses the same engine as the Google Chrome web browser. And is using also the Chromium engine. So the steps are the same to successfully solve this video quality problem in your Microsoft Edge web browser.

This a common problem that occurs, and most projector owners don't know why or how to deal with it. Projectors tend to overheat if you're using the projector in a warm room. This can cause the device to overheat because no cooling occurs when the air the fan pulls in is the same temperature as the warm air released from the projector. Besides, filter will be filled with dust if it is not cleaned regularly which may also cause overheat of the projector.

Avoid placing your projector or an unstable platform, as this will cause problems with the image. Other than this, make sure not to tilt the projector to one side while using it. This can cause damages internally as the device is to be set still in one particular position only.

Projectors are a popular product as people in conferences and business meetings use the projector for presentations. The projects typically have issues with their picture quality; below are some of the other problems your projector may face.

You're pressing the power button, and still, the projector tends not to turn off. The reason for this problem to occur is a not correctly fitted lamp assembly. To solve this problem, fit the lamp properly or have a technician do it for you.

The reason behind remote controls not working is simple. Either the batteries are weak, or the distance between the remotes sensor and projectors sensor is more than the recommended range. Thus solving this problem will take no extra time or effort. Just change the batteries and make sure the range isn't too much.

The problems you will face before starting your projector during usage and once finished using it may vary. You must make sure that you're following the protocols to ensure the well being of your projector. Otherwise, you will come across more issues regularly.

The problems mentioned above all have a solution, and in case you don't have a remedy to treat it, contact your projectors manufacturer for assistance on it. You may also go through the manual provided with the projector for further details in regards to your concern.

The problem is that 4K games on PS4 Pro, and Microsoft's 4K Xbox One counterpart the Xbox One X, often weren't really 4K games. They were near-4K games or sort-of-4K games. The problem is much the same today on PS5 and Xbox Series X: 4K games often don't run how they're advertised to run, whether it's in terms of just resolution, or resolution and framerate.

Video game consoles generally increase resolution slowly over the course of generations. For example, the PlayStation 2 ran games, on average, at a bit below 480p. The PlayStation 3 ran games, on average, at 720p. And the PlayStation 4 ran games, on average, at 1080p. 720p has about half of the pixels of 1080p, and 480p has about a third of the pixels of 720p.

Do you stream your favorite TV shows, movies, music, or video games? If not, you might be in the minority these days. With the widespread availability of faster internet speeds, more people stream the content they watch, listen to, and play these days than do not.

To stream content, you need an internet-connected device, such as a TV, smartphone, or tablet, and access to a streaming platform or app. For example, if you want to stream movies, you need a TV that connects to the internet and a streaming platform like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, or Disney Plus.

When you are streaming content, the speed at which data is sent across the connection determines the quality of what you are experiencing. For example, if you have a very low internet speed and you are trying to stream a movie, you may have lower picture quality, problems with lagging and freezing, or an inability to play the stream at all. By contrast, a high-speed internet connection allows data to be transferred rapidly, which may mean clearer picture quality, no issues with lagging or freezing, and seamless transitions from one piece of streamed content to the next.

For basic video streaming on YouTube, you only need an internet connection with .5Mbps. However, to stream movies and TV shows, you will need different sustained speeds depending on the preferred video resolution. For SD, you will need between 0.7 and 1.1Mbps, whereas you will need between 2.5 and 5Mbps for HD, and for 4K streaming, YouTube recommends at least 20Mbps. To watch live streams, higher speeds are recommended, but the quality will automatically adjust according to the available bandwidth.

Throttling is an industry practice among ISPs that often goes into effect if you exceed your allotted monthly data limit. For example, if your ISP has a 100GB data-use allowance, you may experience slower speeds once you have used that much data. You may also experience throttling on your internet connection if you share bandwidth with others in your area and are using a lot of bandwidth at any given time. This type of throttling is done to negate problems with one customer using the bulk of the available bandwidth on a shared connection.

We began by looking at the Wenter RCA to HDMI Converter. This converter provides a strong, stable signal, with gold-plated contacts that help prevent static. It outputs in 1080p or 720p, and stretches 4:3 video to fit a 16:9 display. If you want the most stable signal, this is the converter for you.

We've had a 32" LED HDTV Sceptre (1080P-60Hz) in our bedroom for almost 3 years that we love and haven't had a single problem with it (also purchased through Felt comfortable enough to recommend as a combined family birthday present. Picked this one because birthday girl has cable that only supports 720P (1080P would have been a waste). Great picture, sound is fine for us normal people, great price, free super fast delivery right to our front door -- what's not to love? Also purchased the $24.00 4-year warranty. Hope we never need it but just in case we decided "can we really not afford to insure this for only $6.00 per year?"

My best friend's brother just got this new handheld iPod-like thingy. It's South Korean, has (approx) a 4-inch screen, can play 720p video and music, movies, pictures, etc. Everything that an iPod can do (plus 720p vids), but on a bigger screen. I'm in the market for a new portable media player device thingy that's not and iPod and this thing looks like it fits the bill. Only thing is, I have no idea what it is, what it's called, or where to look for it. Does anyone know of such a device, or where I could buy one? flaminglawyer 00:12, 27 January 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi. Our article on 720p states that it is 1280x720 and mentions absolutely nothing about 1366x768. However, every single 720p TV I've seen advertised in South Africa has a resolution of 1366. Actually to be more accurate, they are always advertised as "HD Ready" rather than 720p. Similarly, 1080p TV's are advertised as "Full HD". Now at the moment we still don't have digital broadcasting although it WILL come in time for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Not sure if it wll be 720 or 1080.
